ﭑ وَالصَّافَّاتِ ﭒ صَفًّا ﭓ
37:1
Dr. Mustafa Khattab By those ˹angels˺ lined up in ranks,
37:2
ﭔ فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ ﭕ زَجْرًا ﭖ
37:2
Dr. Mustafa Khattab and those who diligently drive ˹the clouds˺,
37:3
ﭗ فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ﭘ ذِكْرًا ﭙ
37:3
Dr. Mustafa Khattab and those who recite the Reminder!
37:4
ﭚ إِنَّ ﭛ إِلَٰهَكُمْ ﭜ لَوَاحِدٌ ﭝ
37:4
Dr. Mustafa Khattab Surely your God is One!
37:5
ﭞ رَبُّ ﭟ السَّمَاوَاتِ ﭠ وَالْأَرْضِ ﭡ وَمَا ﭢ بَيْنَهُمَا ﭣ وَرَبُّ ﭤ الْمَشَارِقِ ﭥ
37:5
Dr. Mustafa Khattab ˹He is˺ the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything in between, and the Lord of all points of sunrise.
37:6
ﭦ إِنَّا ﭧ زَيَّنَّا ﭨ السَّمَاءَ ﭩ الدُّنْيَا ﭪ بِزِينَةٍ ﭫ الْكَوَاكِبِ ﭬ
37:6
Dr. Mustafa Khattab Indeed, We have adorned the lowest heaven with the stars for decoration
37:7
ﭭ وَحِفْظًا ﭮ مِنْ ﭯ كُلِّ ﭰ شَيْطَانٍ ﭱ مَارِدٍ ﭲ
37:7
Dr. Mustafa Khattab and ˹for˺ protection from every rebellious devil.
37:8
ﭳ لَا ﭴ يَسَّمَّعُونَ ﭵ إِلَى ﭶ الْمَلَإِ ﭷ الْأَعْلَىٰ ﭸ وَيُقْذَفُونَ ﭹ مِنْ ﭺ كُلِّ ﭻ جَانِبٍ ﭼ
37:8
Dr. Mustafa Khattab They cannot listen to the highest assembly ˹of angels˺ for they are pelted from every side,
37:9
ﭽ دُحُورًا ﭾ ﭿ وَلَهُمْ ﮀ عَذَابٌ ﮁ وَاصِبٌ ﮂ
37:9
Dr. Mustafa Khattab ˹fiercely˺ driven away. And they will suffer an everlasting torment.
37:10
ﮃ إِلَّا ﮄ مَنْ ﮅ خَطِفَ ﮆ الْخَطْفَةَ ﮇ فَأَتْبَعَهُ ﮈ شِهَابٌ ﮉ ثَاقِبٌ ﮊ
37:10
Dr. Mustafa Khattab But whoever manages to stealthily eavesdrop is ˹instantly˺ pursued by a piercing flare.
37:11
ﮋ فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ ﮌ أَهُمْ ﮍ أَشَدُّ ﮎ خَلْقًا ﮏ أَمْ ﮐ مَنْ ﮑ خَلَقْنَا ﮒ ﮓ إِنَّا ﮔ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ ﮕ مِنْ ﮖ طِينٍ ﮗ لَازِبٍ ﮘ
37:11
Dr. Mustafa Khattab So ask them ˹O Prophet˺, which is harder to create: them or other marvels of Our creation?1 Indeed, We created them from a sticky clay.2
